DONALD D. LUSK
(1943-2006)

Mr. Lusk was born on November
8, 1943. He attended Birmingham Southern College where he served
as President of his social fraternity and as President of the College’s
Inter-Fraternity Counsel. Subsequently he attended the University
of Alabama where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
He received a B.A. degree from Birmingham Southern College in 1965
and a J.D. degree from the University of Alabama in 1968. He
was admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice in 1968 before all
State Courts and the Supreme Court of the State of Alabama.
Mr. Lusk began the practice of law in 1968 with a defense firm in
Birmingham where he primarily practiced traditional insurance defense
and where he subsequently became a senior partner. In 1996 Mr.
Lusk established his own firm with other shareholders, handling the
representation of a number of clients, all of whom have continued
to be the clients of our present firm.
It is our belief that the attorneys in our firm comprise one of the
most capable groups of lawyers in the southeastern United States due
to Donald D. Lusk to whom we will always be indebted for the invaluable
leadership, guidance and teachings that he left in all of us at the
firm. |
